What industry captains say...

Given the kind of scale of operation that SIJS is involved in, I think it’s a reflection of the kind of work that SIJS has been dishing out. It has been reaching a lot of manufacturers and in fact, it has met the objective of shrinking the distance between the manufacturers and the retailers. That is the core objective what we all are setting out to do. It is forums like this that helps the industry to grow.

K. Shivram, Vice President, World Gold Council

We can all see how SIJS has grown in the last 4 years. The b2b jewellery shows across the country is catching up. SIJS is also gaining immense momentum with increasing number of stalls. And all the credit goes to The Art of Jewellery who has motivated people to come, be a part of the show and exhibit their stalls. It is so good to see that today we have so many dealers participating in the show.

Mahesh Pathi, President, The Jewellers’ Association, Bangalore

It really gives me great pleasure to be part of this very special show. I congratulate The Art of Jewellery for creating this unique and very vibrant platform for us. This platform is not only bringing everyone together but is also having good eminent speakers like Nirupaji to promote in-depth knowledge about the jewellery industry. This has provided light on important issues like the need of basic education in the jewellery industry and the best part is that all this is coming through one platform. This is the 4th year of the show and it is good to see that the show has improved to such an extent.

G. V. Sreedhar, Hon. Secretary, The Jewellers’ Association, Bangalore

I think SIJS has improved very significantly from last two years. I am very pleased with the efforts put on educational front and also the quality of the visitors who are coming in- I think it’s a very good regional show”

Nirupa Bhatt, MD, India and Middle East - GIA

It was a very good show we could find representations from all parts of the country not only manufacturers but also the precious, semi precious gemstone from jaipur, machinery so it is a rare opportunity here we see a combination that’s the advantage to the jeweller especially the retailers.

Anantha padmanabhan, Chairman, Gold Club of Chennai
