Chairman’s Day: A vision for the future


 

A day before the curtains to the 4th season of SIJS drew open, chairman of GJF C. Vinod Hayagriv graciously hosted a splendid evening of education and networking meeting. The meeting was attended by eminent personalities of the GJ industry.

There was a lot more to the Chairman’s Day besides the regular business meetings.

 

Dr. Sharan Patil spoke on the subject of Extraordinary Surgeries, Alok Gupta, Director of Café Coffee talked about What goes on at Café Coffee Day - Modern day business care study. He discussed at length the changing trends and mindsets of the people who have started using a casual place like CCD to discuss business ventures and develop business contacts.

B.S.Nagesh, Chairman and Managing Director, Shoppers Stop presented the topic The real future and retail in India – Learning from the real experts. Nagesh emphasized on

The highlight of the event was the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between GJF and The Art of Jewellery to conduct a series of consumer exhibitions (B2C) across the country.

the need to focus on out-of-the box thinking and diversification for a sustainable and profitable business in this era of cut throat competition.

As a breather to the participants an exciting workshop on belly dance was conducted by Arthi who made the likes of Hayagriv dance to her tunes.

Last but not the least a gala show by Bangalore’s own fashion guru Prasad Bidapa mesmerized the audience with its charm. With a grand dinner subsequent to the fashion show, curtains fell to the day full of fascinating events.
